Boys: Part 2
No, I am not talking about the boys you're thinking about. I'm thinking about brothers. Brothers, and as well as other gendered siblings, can be very aggravating. VERY. Just, don't start fights with little brothers.. I mean, thirteen year old girls should not still be arguing about stuff with little kids. Unless that sibling has taken my favorite plate. Then, IT'S ON. :)

Girl Drama
So, as you well know, I write posts on here hoping that MY experiences will help YOU. As we all know, girls are little brats. Any chance they get they WILL start a fight or something. I really could care LESS about what they do, and I think you should too. If girls engage you with their snotty faces and try to tell you off about blah blah blah, just be like "Good for you" or something that makes them feel immature. Just don't say anything long or yell back at them cause it makes you just as bad. Just say something to let them know you aren't taking their sh*t, because if you ignore it consistently instead of letting yourself become a target, they'll move on to someone who would just fuel the fire. These little annoying brats want ACTION, and they'll find someone else to gossip and start drama about if you don't go along with it.

Textinq and Phones pt. 2
I know I felt quilty at first about tellinq you how to not get cauqht with a phone because I'm not supposed to tell you how to break rules.. But that quilt went away fast. :) Instead of writing a huge page about it, here's a link to a page with how to text in class. I found it quite helpful :)

Texting & Phones
Does your school not allow phones to be seen on it's property during school hours like mine doesn't? If not, you don't need to read this because you're ALOUD to have your phone. For those of us who aren't, here are some tips for bringing your phone. I'm still debating whether I should give you tips later on about how to not get caught texting in class, because I guess this blog is supposed to promote good behavior. But hey, aren't tips on not getting in trouble something we all need????
Where to keep your phone and how: If you have pant pockets that are deep and loose enough that you can put your phone in them without it showing an indentation or falling out, go for it. But be cautious, and don't keep it in your pocket if you're wearing ultra skinniez with tiny pockets- it's really obvious you have it- just keep it in your bag if you do. Not a big deal. (There's also jacket pocket.) And make sure it's ALWAYS on silent. Not even vibrate, no matter how quiet your vibrate is, because there is always the moments in class when everything's completely silent just for a second, and there's always a possibility someone will hear, even if it's not the teacher and it's just the loudmouth tattle-tell. It's easier to be safe than sorry.
The best times to use it: LUNCH, RECESS, BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL. And yes, there's between classes, but that's only five minutes between, and teachers in the hall might catch you.
Parents: If your parents are cool with you bringing your phone, you don't have much of a problem. But if they're like mine and don't want you to bring it, either follow orders or find a way to go against them without getting caught. I'm not going to teach you how to break your parents rules.
GETTING IT TAKEN AWAY: We ALL dread it. That moment of heart-sinking belly-flopping awkwardness when you look up from your phone screen and the teacher is staring at you. When and if they take your phone, they usually will tell you when you can get it back, but this is where it comes in handy to be on your teacher's good side. If they take it silently and don't tell you when you can get it back, it's best to ask them after class. Don't interrupt their lesson to ask. First offence, you usually pick it up after class from the teacher or office, second offence; Your parent picks it up after school from the teacher or office, and third offence, well, lets just hope you're not stupid enough to do it a third time.
Rules: Every school has different policies for phones. It really just depends.

School Scheddz!
Making your school schedule. Here's how I think a good schedule should be planned out:
1st per.: An O.K. class that isn't awesome, but isn't gonna make you fall asleep because you're still tired in the A.M., you also want a nice teacher for first period so you're taken easy on if you're tardy.
2nd per.: A boring class. I know boring classes shouldn't exist at all in your schedule, but 2nd per. is the best time to have them because you can look forward to lunch.
Lunch: Well, it's the best time of the school day. It speaks for itself:)
3rd per.: A GREAT, easy class to continue the good mood from lunch break! (i.e., Gym class, or extra curricular class)
4th per.: A good class to wrap the day up well, a fairly okay class that has a teacher that will let you leave the class before the bell rings if you have stuff to take care of after school with friends.
This is what I think the perfect schedule would be. Just make sure NOT to have Gym before lunch, because you don't want to be all sweaty for your free period to hang out with friends. :) THIS SCHEDULE IS MEANT FOR A BLOCK SCHEDULE, AS EVIDENCED BY THE FOUR-CLASS STRUCTURE. I HAVE A BLOCK SCHEDULE, SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT A GOOD NON-BLOCK SCHEDULE-SCHEDULE WOULD CONSIST OF. YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN THERE, SORRY.

New kids
There's Always new kids at your school!! Talk to them! Even if they seem mean, it's probably just a cover for being nervous at a new school. Start a conversation by saying, "Hey, are you new this year?" And lead on from there starting with introducing yourself. It can be fun talking to new people!! They might seem really shy at first, but once you get to know them, they might be just as loud and crazy as you. :)
